Registration and Account:

How do I create an account?

If you use the PacerApp for the first time, you will be asked to create a new account. If you already have an account, you can just log in with your account. If you don’t have an account yet, please follow the following steps register. Alternatively to the registration via Email you can also register with your with your Facebook profile. After you registered with your Facebook profile you can create a new account in the PacerApp.

When the registration is completed you have the opportunity to create a first horse profile or inquire a horse that already has a profile.

How do I change my password?

You can change your password at the log in screen. If you are logged in, you need to log out first. While you are logging in you have opportunity to click on “Forgot Password” in order to change your password.

Rider and Horse Profiles

How do I edit my profile?

After your registration, you will be asked to create your own profile. If you want to change data in your profile, you have to go to “my profile” in the menu. In order to edit your profile, click on the pen sign in the top right corner. After that, save your changings.

How do I install a horse profile?

Open the menu of the App. Click on the Icon at the top right corner. Open “Horses” in the menu. If you want to add another horse profile, you need to click on “Add Horse” (iOS) or click on the plus sign (Android).

How do I add people to my horse’s profile?

Open the menu of the App. Click on the icon at the top right corner. Open “Horses” in the menu. Now you can add people to your horses. In order to do so, you need to click on the horse icon and after that on “Invite”. Now you can invite the people you wish to. Afterwards the person only needs to confirm your invitation and you can both start to record and review the training.

How do I remove a person, I have already added to a horse?

Open the menu of the App. Click on the icon at the top right corner. Click on “Horses”. Click on the symbol with the person next to the horse, to remove it from your horse. After that you can see a summary of all the people, who can access to the data of your horse. Now select the person you want to remove from your horse. When you go to “Create Access” you can click on “Remove Person”, after you confirmed the message you can detract the person.

Record of your training

How do I record my training?

In order to start a recording you need to go to the main menu click on the round PLAY button at the bottom. After that you need to click on “Start Tracking”. Now put your phone as fast as possible into the pocket at the side of your saddle pad. It doesn’t matter which way your phone is facing.

Finish your training by clicking on “Stop Tracking”. Subsequent to that you can take some notes, if you have any details or special characteristics to add to your training that you would like to remember. After you have updated your training to the cloud, you receive the analysis of your training on the main menu of the app.

Mind that the vibration of your phone is turned of.

Where do I find the results of my analysis?

After you successfully recorded your training you can look at it at your horses profile and after you uploaded it, you can also see it in the round graphic.

But the picture of the horse you want to see the data of in the middle of the main menu. Also choose the right date for your recording.

The numbers in the circular graphic show the time, while the training was recorded.

When you click on the colored areas on the circular graphic or click on the symbol of the magnifying glass you can see an overview of your ridden gaits.

If you click on “Details” underneath the graphic, you will get to the details of your recording.

On one page you can see the duration of the ridden gaits from walk, trot and canter, the distance you rode as well as the average pace. If you swipe right you will get to an overview of your transitions. If you swipe right another time it will lead you to your evaluation, notes and informations about the rider. On the fourth page you can see the GPS-Data of you ride. Here you can also see the different paces you rode on the different areas of the map.

Where am I supposed to place my smartphone in order to get the best results?

The algorithm will be most precise when you attach your phone directly to your horse. In order to do that we recommend you to use our saddle pad, which you can find in our shop online.

Settings

How can I change the language of the App?

The PacerApp will have the same language settings as your phone. If the language setting of your phone is not German, the PacerApp will be in English.

Is it possible to show the space in m/min instead of km/h?

Yes, you need to go to settings and change it to m/min instead of km/h.

Others

The map not showing the way I rode.

Be sure that you activated GPS and your phone has enough reception. If you activated the energy saving mode, you possibly have no GPS tracking or you will have GPS data that is not precise. In order to have an ideal result of your analysis you need to turn off the energy saving mode before riding. Also the GPS signal is way better underneath the clear sky.

Will the case of the HorseAnalytics saddle pad protect my phone from water?

Gentle rain is no problem and will not get to your phone. If it rains really hard we would not recommend you to put your phone in the case of the saddle pad.

How do I report my problems?

Which way am I supposed to put my phone into the saddle pad?

It does not matter which way you place your smartphone in the saddle pad, it will not affect the recording of your riding. So do not think about it to much, just start riding!

How do I record a training session?

You can record your whole training in the beta version of the App. In order to start tracking you need to click on PLAY in the main menu. As soon as hear a click the recording starts.

Now put your Smartphone in the case at the side of your saddle pad and start practicing. Try to ride very precise. It does not matter which side is facing up.

After you are done with your training you need to click on “PLAY” again and your phone will finish the training. Now you can take some notes, if you want to be reminded of any details, that are important to you.

You can see the recorded data if you click on the horse’s picture in the main menu. You can delete your recordings or upload them to the cloud. In order to save enough storage space on your phone, the recordings will be deleted after 10 days on your phone. So make sure you export them to cloud on time. If you uploaded your training to the cloud, you will be able to see the analysis in the main menu of the App.

Interpretation of the Data

After you successfully recorded your training, you can see the results in the horse profile and after you uploaded it you can see them in the circular graphic.

You need to put the picture of the horse in the middle of main menu in order to see its collected data. Also you need to choose the right date of your collected data.

You can see the details of your training, when you click on the colored areas of the circular graphic or tab on the symbol of the magnifying glass in the middle of the circle.

If you on the “i” symbol underneath the circle you will get to the details of your recording.

Do I need a sensor for the PacerApp?

No, the PacerApp will record riding no matter where you position your phone. We recommend you to use our Saddle Pad, or put the phone in the pocket of your pants or in a pocket on your thigh to ensure a ideal analysis of your riding.

How can I change the language of the App?
